This is an example of earth art in which the artist uses nature as a medium to complete their artwork. I believe that Transcendentalists would be the ones to use this type of art because they are deeply connected with nature and would use aspects of nature to express an art piece. The picture of the stones stacked so symmetrically shows that if one stone is taken from the piece, it would completely fall apart.
