Dear Cuttlefish, 2010 by Heather LeMay (~LeMayhem, US) :"Did you know the historical Artist's sepia ink was originally made from ink of the Cuttlefish? It came into use in the 18th century and was quite popular by the 19th century. The ink takes it's name from the Cuttlefish species Sepia officinalis. Maybe he's requesting more recognition! Originally painted in gouache and watercolour."
