The child-friendly schools framework promotes child-seeking, child-centred, gender-sensitive, inclusive, community-involved, protective and healthy approaches to schooling and out-of-school education worldwide.
Children are born into the world eager to learn. All too often, though, they do not have access to education as schools are too far away that they are unable to attend. In Malaysia, 91% of poor households live less than 5KM from the nearest Government primary school. But the situation differs between states.
