We spent an amazing 3 days in Udaipur, exploring royal palaces, seeing incredible viewpoints and admiring Pichola Lake. It was one of our favourite cities in Rajasthan and we’re excited to show you why in our 3 day Udaipur itinerary. Udaipur is one of the most romantic cities in India and is also nicknamed the Venice of the East due to its European feel. We spent our evenings watching the sunset over the lake from some of the many rooftops around the city and we even caught a beautiful sunrise from a temple. The lake city felt like a breath of fresh air compared to the rush of Jaipur and Delhi, and it’s so easy to reach by train or bus. Udaipur definitely surprised us, we’re so glad we added it to our India route.
