Part of being a writer is performing your work in public at conventions, readings, and other events. Such readings are a great way to get your work out there, but a bad reader can spoil a story. In this workshop, you'll learn how to prepare to your story to read out loud, how to quell pre-reading jitters, the ins and outs of projection, volume, gestures, and working with microphones, and what to do about interruptions, distractions, and other disasters.
