Nettie Brazeau Goings (Money) was born in 1856 at Pine Ridge Reservation. She was of mixed heritage, Lakotan, French and African American. Her father was frontiersman John Brazeau. Her mother was either Brings Blue (Hintoakdi) or Sings. She had children of several mates, one of which was Samuel Goings, one of which was ira Lynch (Linch).
