Sheath, 13C - 14C ID no. Z1594 Incomplete leather knife sheath with impressed and stamped decoration on the front and back (the piece is now spread open). Both front and back have stamped eagle motifs within impressed oval frames with impressed foliate motifs in between. The seam (which would have been a side seam) has edge/grain stitch holes.

Sheath Part of the front of a leather knife/dagger sheath; decorated with large impressed 3 and 4 petalled florets with a background of small stamped circles (the individual stamp was made up of two circles). The decoration is in two panels denoting the handle and the blade. Part of the seam survives on one side at the back (side of back seam) with edge/grain stitch holes.
