Tatra Mountains

The highest peak of the Carpathian Mountains (Gerlach Peak, 2656 m above sea level) is located in the Polish-Slovak borderland. You can find both rocky peaks and high-mountain blooming meadows in these picturesque mountains. The valleys are home to numerous post-glacial lakes. The flora and fauna of the Tatras has been admired by tourists for decades.
