Pieniny Mountains

These mountains made of sedimentary rocks are located on the Polish-Slovak border. The most interesting places in this range are the rocky limestone peaks. You can reach them by following marked tourist trails. Float rafting or pontoon rafting through the picturesque Dunajec Gorge is also worth a try. Pieniny are rich with cultural attractions such as numerous historical monuments, museums, heritage parks and villages with original architecture, which are sure to be make a lasting impression.
