This is where the boom really started. The Macintosh 128k released early 1984 and Steve Jobs became very proud and protective of this creation. It really is an iconic machine, the Macintosh lineup (now called just "Mac") has so far gathered just shy of 30 years. The Macintosh 128k had the same processor as the Lisa a Motorola 68000 although this machine run at 8 GHz. It also sported 128k RAM. The operating system is very recognisable Mac OS 1.0 through to 3.2 we are much further ahead now…

The Apple Lisa is by far my favourite Apple computer, the design on this machine is just beautiful! The Lisa was named after Steve Job's daughter and was first introduced in early 1983. It worked on a Motorola 68000 at 5 GHz. The OS was LisaOS and this computer pretty much carved the way to the first Macintosh computer.

The Apple II was one of the first computer with a color display, and it has the BASIC programming language built-in, so it is ready-to-run right out of the box. The Apple II was probably the first user-friendly system. The Apple IIc became the fourth offering in the Apple II series and was the companies first attempt at creating a portable computer, obviously with the C meaning compact.
