There are but two elements mixed here, but it still feels powerful. It gives an eerie sense of being watched. The greyscale adds to this sense. The sharp-looking, scattered twigs and such along the fence also add an unhappy air. It reminds me of the Great Gatsby (the eyes that watched over them on a billboard).

I enjoy the contrast of dark to pastel colours. The radial gradient frames the floating girl really nicely and adds a magical quality, which fits in with the fairy tale-esque quality the glowing, pastel landscape already implied. This seems dream-like.

You don't often seen photos of a person's feet with shoe laces which why I like this. Unusual and strange. Its an artist's visual interpretation about stepping into another man's shoes, now being about feet. The cobblestone in the background helps but I feel this could use a little more elements to make it work. Perhaps a striking tattoo on one of the toes or caking both feet with a layer of soot to imply ware.

This is an interesting concept. It makes one think of someone constantly "watching the clock" or speedometer, etc. The angle, lighting, and greyscale definitely make it feel dramatic. The wideness of the eye also adds an alarmed, perhaps disturbed element. I really like how the light is catching the eyelashes.

This image definitely conveys a sense of blindness and lostness. It can be interpreted in a metaphorical sense, of course, which is a neat aspect to photomontages. The sky is clouded, the woods are bare and eerie, and of course, there are wolves/dogs all around her, some of them looking somewhat fierce. However, they could also be interpreted as trying to guide her, but she is having troubles following.
