The print features an original artwork created by Pollock in 1944 titled " Gothic ". Jackson Pollock ( 1912 - 1956 ) was an American painter and major figure in the Abstract Expressionist movement. He was well known for his unique style of " Drip Painting ". The groundbreaking images he created, and the materials he worked with were both experimental, innovative & non traditional. During his life time, Pollock enjoyed considerable fame and notoriety, he was a major artist of his generation He had a volatile personality and struggled for most of his life.
