Eyelash Viper (Bothriechis schlegelii) is a venomous pit viper species found in Central and South America. Small and arboreal, these snakes are characterized by their wide array of color variations, as well as the superciliary scales over the eyes.

Eyelash Viper, (Bothriechis schlegelii), Small, beautiful, but incredibly venemous pit viper native to Southern Mexico through Northern Colombia and N. Venezuela. Some literature extends their range through Ecuador into Peru, but it's my experience that they do not occur below N. Colombia.

Color Nature ~ The golden Eyelash Viper. Hands down the best looking venomous snake on the planet.
