Merry Almost Christmas from SO YUMMY! Enjoy these Christmas cookie recipes!
    For Reindeer Cookies:
      Ingredients:
      • 1 oz mini m&m’s
      • 2 oz mini chocolate-covered pretzels
      • 1 gingerbread cookie dough
      Directions:
        1. Scoop-
          Scoop two-tablespoonful mounds of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
            2. Press-
              Roll each mound into a ball, and using your thumb and forefinger, squeeze the ball gently to create a ‘head’ shape. Then, gently press your thumb into the top half of the head shape, to widen it.
                3. Bake-
                  Bake the cookies according to your recipe, and allow them to cool slightly.
                    4. Press-
                      While still slightly warm and pliable, press two brown M&M into the cookie, as eyes, and one red one, as a nose.
                        5. Finish-
                          Finish with two pretzels pressed in as antlers. The chocolate will melt ever so slightly from the warmth and form an adhesive as it cools.
                            For Peppermint Bauble Gingerbread Men Cookies:
                              Ingredients:
                              • 1 bag peppermint melts
                              • 1 pack royal icing
                              • 1 pack gingerbread cookie dough
                              Directions:
                                1. Roll-
                                  Roll out your gingerbread cookie dough, and cut out gingerbread men shapes.
                                    2. Roll-
                                      Roll a piece of aluminum foil into a tight ball, the same size as your peppermint melts.
                                        3. Place-
                                          Place the aluminum ball in the center of the cookie, between its arms.
                                            4. Press-
                                              Using your thumb, lightly press the arms to elongate them, and then pull the arms up and over the ball, to hold it in place.
                                                5. Bake-
                                                  Bake the cookies according to your recipe, then allow them to cool slightly.
                                                    6. Remove-
                                                      While still warm, and slightly pliable, remove the aluminum ball and replace it with a peppermint melt.
                                                        7. Pipe-
                                                          Pipe on a face and buttons.
                                                            For Stained Glass Sugar Ornament Cookies:
                                                              Ingredients:
                                                              • 1 bag colorful hard candies
                                                              • ribbon
                                                              • 9 1⁄2 oz sugar cookie dough
                                                              Directions:
                                                                1. Roll-
                                                                  Roll out sugar cookie dough, and cut out festive shapes using cookie cutters. Then, using a smaller cookie cutter, cut out the center of each cookie.
                                                                    2. Crush-
                                                                      Place your hard candies in a plastic sandwich bag and crush them using a rolling pin or another heavy object.
                                                                        3. Spoon-
                                                                          Spoon enough crushed hard candy into the center of each cookie, to fill them.
                                                                            4. Poke-
                                                                              Using a skewer, poke a small hole into the top of each cookie.
                                                                                5. Bake-
                                                                                  Bake the cookies according to your recipe.
                                                                                    6. String-
                                                                                      String a ribbon through each hole, so the cookies can be hung.
