Hitler’s military career was much different from the widely known stories and rumors – as Weber points in the book, many of them were created after the Great War by German propaganda.
Führer Adolf Hitler visits the wounded at a military hospital. Such visits meant quite a great deal to many German soldiers, often inciting to the public the sense that their government and its leaders truly care about the well-being of those serving the Reich.
