Henry Moore in his Hampstead studio. The story goes, his wife was keen to have him work all the time - his artworks fetched a lot of money even then - but Henry Moore found a way around this. He would sit in a chair in this upstairs studio, with a newspaper and whisky in one hand and a walking stick in the other. Every few minutes he would bang the stick hard on the floor so that the missus would think he was actually sculpting.
