Level INTERMEDIATE, still very EASY!
Twisty Braid 1/4 Up! My styles are always on purpose not super neat. When you do a style really neat, it shows all imperfections. Keeping it tousled & without clean lines creates a softer style that anyone can do! Clean lines are great also, but a much more advanced style. IMO, not nearly as beautiful:) Don’t worry about making everything perfect. The only thing I ever try to do with hair is keep it balanced:)
Step 1. Take a section of hair at the top of the head, about halfway back towards the crown & secure it keeping band a few inches from scalp.
Step 2. Split the hair, flip forward & pull the hair back through the hole, then tighten.
Step 3. Take a small section BESIDE & IN FRONT of the pony you just made & braid it. Repeat on the other side so you have two braids.
Step 4. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP. Because we’re not using a lot of hair, we want those skinny braids to look wider & fuller. Really loosen the braids or pancake them out a little by pulling at the loops of the braids.
Step 5. Pull the braids together and secure.
Step 6. Twist the braids once making a hole between the twist and the band.
Step 7. Pull the band through the hole. Tighten behind the top ponytail by pulling the two ends of the braids.
Go back and balance everything out by adjusting the braids & the hair. You made need to tease a little in the back to get the hair full. Spray with a little hair spray and you’re good to go! 🥰
