Singer sewing machine

My mom's old singer sewing machine I remember my mother making quilts for my sister and I with this machine. This was also the first machine I learned to sew with. My mom still has hers.

ironing sprinkler bottle...had one in our household.  After the garment was sprinkled, it was rolled up so the whole thing would get damp and, if you didn't have time to iron it, you stuck it is the refrigerator so it wouldn't mildew....before steam irons!

Yes, this is exactly what my mom used to do: ironing sprinkler bottle ~ sprinkle the clothes, roll them up, and put them aside for awhile. It made ironing so much easier.
