The fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox) is a cat-like, carnivorous mammal related to the mongoose family, that is endemic to Madagascar. The fossa is the largest mammalian carnivore on the island of Madagascar and has been compared to a small cougar.

Jaguarundi or Eyra cat is native to Central and South America. It has been seen as for north as South Texas and south as Argentina. They're small wild cats weighing in at a max of 20 lbs. It has 2 color phases which at one time were thought to be 2 different species. 1) gray color phase was called Jaguaundi and 2) red color phase was called Eyra cat. But they are both the same animal in different phases.

A jaguarondi, also called the eyra cat, is a small-sized wild cat native to Central and South America. It is also found along the US/Mexico border. It is endangered. Locals say it makes a terrifying scream.
