Jake Hicks Photography - New ideas, new looks and new setups :) As you guys know, I'm a firm believer that we need to be constantly trying new ideas and techniques if we want to grow as photographers and more importantly as creatives. In fact I find it very hard to believe that any of you following me here don't employ the same philosophies in your own work as I do. After all, why on earth follow a tog who thinks he can do a better job of lighting something than the sun can, if you're not interested in seeing something new 😁😇 Here's an image of a new setup that mixes aspects from a lot of other setups I've shot before, I love certain things about it and of course there are things I'd do differently next time. I have a few more of these shots from this series to share and I'll go into more detail on how this was lit and shot in the future with subsequent posts but I'll happily entertain your speculation until then :) As I'm sure you're all aware, it's Friday so congrats for making it to the weekend :D I hope you all have an awesome couple of days off and as always, I shall see you all on the other side :) If you've got shoots lined up and booked, do me one small favour and promise me you'll try something new that you've never tried before in your shoot.
