Toyota has indicated it will introduce a fuel cell version of the Prius. The company is planning to begin series production of a fuel cell Toyota Prius in 2014, and from 2015 to market the car in Japan, the US (California) and Europe. The final choice of countries to be targeted for early marketing of fuel cell vehicles would depend on how well development of hydrogen infrastructure has gone. That means California has work faster to get their fueling network up.
