Carlos from Canary Islands and Steve from Germany, EVS volunteers in Plzen (Czech Republic). In 2015 Plzen will be the European Capital of Culture. Carlos and Steve are working this year in the International Relations Department, helping to develop different cultural projects and to cooperate with other European cities.

Stefánia Erdei from Hungary, EVS volunteer in Česky Těšín (Czech Republic). She is working in a daily care center with disabled people, they are adults. They make lots of things, for instance practical stuffs like cooking/baking or create something nice, like the buttons on the picture.

Danielle from England, EVS volunteer in Nachod (Czech Republic). Her organisation is called Decko (i.e. the letter D for the Czech word for children) and children are at the heart of everthing they do. Here the kids are, pleased as punch with their homemade penguins.
Duarte from Portugal, EVS volunteer in Tarnowskie Góry, Poland. He says: "Volunteers Raising Ideas" is the name of my project but very little it says about it! So, what is this project really about? It's about life and all it's particularities - friendship, love, travelling, people, places, initiative, action, creativity, relationships and all the little, medium and big things that life gives you. Sara from Hungary, Irina from Urkaine and Marius from Romania, EVS volunteers in Nantes (France). Sara is working at ARPEJ which deals with youth and offers activities for them. Irina is working in CRIJ - Regional Centre of Youth Information. She is informing young Frech people about their opportunities abroad and takes part in different events of the organization. Marius is doing his EVS at the House of Europe. His mission is to inform the public of mobility opportunities in Europe.
Marina Ozimkovic from Serbia. Her EVS was in the headoffice of Germany's SCI branch. She was there to do placement of volunteers abroad, to take part in PR activities, to represent Germany abroad, on several different conferences, seminars, trainings. . . In the photo, she is preparing materials for a promotional campaign.
