Steenberg, Cape Town. This tiny garden leads directly onto the greens and bunkers of a golf course. The shapes of the course have been "borrowed" and used for the organic shapes of the decking thus providing a linkage to the greater landscape. There is no lawn, just a sinuous composition of gentle grasses, both ornamental and local; succulents; screening shrubs and weathered decking. The garden is simple, easy, sexy.
