Powdermill Nature Reserve is at Powdermill Nature Reserve.Like Page We're a little late in posting this, but it still deserves a mention—our first bird banded at Powdermill for 2019 was a Blue Jay! It was our ninth bird of the day on January 3rd (we had to wait until 10:39 in the morning, and get through eight recapped juncos and titmice before we had our first new bird!). This was a nice catch for us as we only band an average of 31 Blue Jays per year.
