Colorful Cupcakes - These were for a little girl's 3rd birthday. To do the color swirl, I made three separate pastry bags - one with green, one with yellow, and one with pink - and tied each up with a rubber band. No tips in these bags, just the open end. Tye-dye cupcakes: Cake: Prepare cake mix as directed. Divide into 5 equal portions. Using food coloring, add a few drops to each portion to get desired color. Place about 1 spoonful of each color in cupcake liner. Bake as directed. For icing: Using the Wilton icing recipe and divided into 3 and colored each section. Place three colors side by side in a decorator bag, using the 1M tip swirl onto cupcake.
