My personal interpretation of a jacket inspired by the past. Every jacket I make is unique. Inspiration was found in my favourite kinds of things: attic treasures, my grandfather’s wardrobe, old photo albums, travel cases, postal stamps and moths.
A linen jacket made of one kind of flax on the inside and another on the outside. The front panels are made of wool and fabric stiffener and the collar and flaps of felt. The fabric has a raw, shredded finish. This jacket features narrow-cut sleeves and old metal buttons on the front and back. Various labels have been used as decoration.
This piece is inspired by old-fashioned night-dresses and mens' shirts. A woman is the most beautiful first thing in the morning when she wakes up and puts on a loose shirt which belongs to her loved one.
"Soroczka" in the Ukrainian language means shirt. I used the word as the name of this collection because it sounds soft and fresh like the transparent silk which I love. This multi-layered dress is most beautiful when in motion. by Monika Jaworska

"Today, fashion is really about sensuality - how a woman feels on the inside [.] Women are now more comfortable with themselves and their bodies - they no longer feel the need to hide behind their clothes" - Donna Karan.
Elegance is the only beauty that never fades. Inspired by 1920s, this dress is most beautiful when in motion. "True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows and the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years" - Audrey Hepburn.
