A dense habit of large, bright rosy purple leaves with deep charcoal gray veining. The prominent dark veining causes the foliage color to pop. Upright, dark burgundy rose flower scapes have matching dark buds that open to rosy pink flowers.
Large, round leaves with red centers in the spring and fall. In summer its red veins are prominent. The gorgeous gold to lime leaf color highlights the venation. Very showy year-round. Heuchera 'Christa' (PP#20764) is a very compact villosa hybrid with leaves that emerge purplish, change to bright orange, then fade to peach. It only grows about 6" high and 10" wide so it works great as a border plant.
