BIO 23 Biennial of Design Awards

On 27 September 2012 the exhibition of 23rd Biennial of Design opening has been opened and the BIO design awards has been bestowed. The international jury consisting of Giulio Cappellini, Sven Jonke, Sophie Lovell, Jimmy MacDonald and Vasa J. Perović has selected the best works exhibited at BIO 23.

Gravity Stool by Amsterdam-based designer Jólan van der Wiel is a project that if nothing else, it’s quite magical. Using a combination of gravity and magnetic fields, he’s able to sculpt these organically shaped stools that are unique and one-of-a-kind.
