Gospel of Judith of Flanders dated to around the year AD1050. I'm adding it to this board because I think the detail of side gathering adds to the evidence for gathered gores. I disagree with the author's interpretation from the article referencing this. I don't believe this is any evidence of drawing sides together with lacing, just a gathered gore.
