Inspired by the Greek mythological creature of a similar name, the Hippokamp chair is an abstract interpretation of a seahorse’ iconic shape. Intentionally intricate, this artistic take on lounge seating almost looks more instrument than furniture. Its many taut cords of the seat, back and footrest, which support the user, give it an interesting harp-like look that’s sure to garner second glances.

As featured in the sci-fi film LOSTBOY, this mean-looking motorcycle concept by designer Patrick A Razo is part steampunk and part ultra-futurism! At the center of its S-shaped frame, a sort of ragbag jumble of mechanical parts, seemingly chopped from other machines. On either end, spherical wheels with gecko-grip for precision maneuvering in any direction. This low-slung, no-frills bad boy isn’t for the faint of heart!

I wanted to create a series of pictures representing mathematical shapes on white background, like a "tribute to mathematics" that I often use in my work. I chose the "strange attractors" for their dynamic forms and "chaotic feel". Because I'm not a mathematician, I relied on several sites. Including one especially, very complete with free plugins for Cinema 4D making possible to configure these shapes easily. The site is in German, but Google translate did the job very well, so many thanks…
