Recipe: Mama Tea’s Garlic Green Beans Serves 3-4 * 1 lb green beans * 6-7 cloves garlic, roughly minced * 3-4 tbsp water or chicken broth * 1 tsp chicken bouillon * 1 tsp kosher salt * 1/2 tsp sugar * 1/8 tsp black pepper * Cooking oil 1. Trim the stems off of all the green beans. Wash and rinse as needed and pat dry. Thinly slice green beans on a bias to form thin green bean strips. Set aside. 2. In a small bowl combine, chicken bouillon, salt, sugar and black pepper. Mix well and set aside. 3. In a large wok or pan, heat about 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant ~30 seconds. 4. Add green beans and toss well. 5. Add seasoning mix and 3-4 tbsp of water or chicken broth to the green beans. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Ensure the green beans still have a good crunch to them. 6.
