DIY Storage Shelf From Plastic Crates
I found these small plastic crates at the store Five Below for just $2 a piece. They connect together with a small peg and hole and a snap on the sides. To hang, I simply drilled a hole in the bottom of each crate, used an anchor and screw to attach to the wall and Viola! I would also recommend using a large flat metal washer behind the screw, since the plastic can crack, it will also add stability. #diy #storage #organization #diy #diyhomedecor #crates

Plastic Basket weaving with Ribbon
I have been looking for the perfect basket for all of my Mini Chipboard Albums and have had no luck for quite some time now. They were either not my style or defiantly not what I wanted to spend. I had some good luck at the DI the other day when I found this plastic crate for $0.50 and brought it home with me I took some ribbon I already had in my stash and did this with it!! I just weaved it in and out and then tied knots at the end. I am in love with this!

Before/After
Shannon sent me her idea for storing ribbons above, which is very nice and made using just a crate, a few dowels and a little glue gun. Then I went to her blog, I saw this before and after of a dining room cabinet. Really great to be reminded that we can recycle units and sometimes those are the best and prettiest of storages ideas.
