Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Buttercream Frosting. Yummy and moist, great for layer cakes too! Choco Cake Recipe 2 cups all-purpose flour, bleached 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup cocoa powder (I use Hershey's) 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt Sift the dry ingredients together. 1 cup milk 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla bean paste Add to the dry ingredients, mix until just blended. Add 1 cup hot coffee (I use Cafe du Monde, any will work though, even decaf), but careful, it can splatter! Mix until blended. Pour into desired floured pans for cake or cupcakes, bake at 350 degrees until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Recipe for frosting is in another pin!
