Hello everyone, On this beautiful autumn day, I stopped to take a few shots of some simple things that caught my eye today. The beautiful plates above were from a quick stop at the 70 mile yard sale. The small bouquet I picked from the garden last evening. Aqua is one of my favorite colors so I can't leave behind a pretty plate with aqua touches at a thrift shop it seems. Wedgwood's Turkey, transferware in all it's glory. Stunning dinner plate with no grazing, chips or cracks. In beautiful condition. Bright and pretty. Floral border frames the handsome turkey in center. One small rough spot as seen in last image. Like a small bubble in the enamel. Most likely from time of manufacturing. Does not show on front and is very minor. Found only on close inspection. Beautiful collectible piece. Add to your collection now. Hard to find, more expensive on other sites.

Set of 6 TUSCAN ROSE Floral Transferware Dinner Plates, England Staffordshire china plates made by John and William Ridgway circa 1820s. Plates measure 9 3/8" in diameter. They are marked on the back with a blue company stamp. Good condition, some small discoloration on edges. Be great in a dining room breakfronts for display. This pattern compliments the blue Asian pheasant pattern.
