Together with the ERC’s organizers, we are preparing a report on the potential and possibilities of developing the space and robotics sector in Poland. We are looking for examples of Polish and international companies that have been created also by taking part in space or robotics competitions such as ERC/URC. Robots built by students from Egypt, India, Columbia and Poland faced off in 2-days competition held between September 5th to 7th, at the Regional Science-Technology Centre in Podzamcze near Chęciny. The winner of the competition is the Mars rover Scorpio from the Wrocław University of Technology.  The event was held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.

Teams of more than 300 designers from around the world will compete in the Mars rovers competition, government representatives will present the assumptions of Polish Space Strategy, and the general public will be able to take part in the extraordinary demonstrations and workshops. 60 teams have declared their participation in the third edition of European Rover Challenge. They come from 12 countries, among others from Canada, USA, Italy, Poland and also Peru. The final round of the competition will take place in Jasionka, between 10th and 13th September 2016.  Link to Poland is a media partner of the ERC.
