Departamento Zurich is a minimal apartment located in Mexico City, Mexico, designed by T-UNOAUNA and arqaz arquitectura. Housing, in its condition as the basic cell of a larger system, needs a change in its policies. Understanding then that architecture is not what has to be reconsidered, but the way of living.
Casa Costa by ARQUITECTURA-G
Casa Costa is a minimal residence located in Barcelona, Spain, designed by ARQUITECTURA-G. The project was an exercise on making a porch habitable around a patio garden. The plot is surrounded by party walls, and the facade is just one more wall that encloses an interior space that wants to be exterior.
Querbes Residence by Vives St-Laurent
Querbes Residence is a minimal house located in Montréal, Canada, designed by Vives St-Laurent. Located in Outremont, the Querbes Residence consists of the complete remodeling of a single family house built at the turn of the 20th century. From the first visit to the premises, the residence’s unique features became an integral part of the project’s conceptual direction.
Casa AC by Olmos Estudio
Casa AC is a minimal home located in Valencia, Spain, designed by Olmos Estudio. Respecting the essence of a town house was the main objective of this new project for the rehabilitation of housing between party walls, located in the historic center of the town of Carcaixent, Valencia. Resting on two streets, with a great entrance of natural light, the house is distributed on the ground floor with a small interior patio, first floor and attic.
GINZA innit by Schemata Architects
GINZA innit is a minimal space located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Schemata Architects. The site is located behind the Ginza Six building, just off Ginza Chuo-dori, and the studio felt the need to attract female customers especially in this fashionable location. Ginza, or perhaps most areas in Tokyo, are usually covered with grayish materials.
Low Energy House by Architecture for London
Low Energy House is a minimal home located in London, United Kingdom, designed by Architecture for London. An Edwardian terrace in Muswell Hill was extended and refurbished to create a comfortable, low energy house. The original structure of the house was revealed, its modest beauty celebrated. Energy requirements are reduced dramatically by insulating, triple-glazing and improving airtightness.
BUN by Nils Van der Celen
BUN is a minimal renovation located in Knokke, Belgium, designed by Nils Van der Celen. The project is a total renovation of a sixties apartment in Knokke. A country house on the Belgian coast was designed to suit the customer, in which tranquility & flexibility for a large family are central.
Haus M by Marazzi Reinhardt
Haus M is a minimal residence located in Weinfelden, Switzerland, designed by Marazzi Reinhardt. The pavilion-like new building is embedded in the gentle topography of the garden. A path leads through the existing development to the volume, which is graduated in height. The base follows the course of the terrain with jumps of 30 centimeters each.

Falcon House is a minimal home located in The Cotswolds, United Kingdom, designed by Koto. This upside down home was created to maximize the views of the surrounding nature from the living spaces, creating the feeling of living within the trees whilst the lower floor was designed to accommodate more intimate and cosy spaces.
House in a Meadow by Hohengasser Wirnsberger Architects
House in a Meadow is a minimal residence designed by Austria-based architects Hohengasser Wirnsberger Architects. The house stands in the meadow on the edge of buildings and agriculture. The chance to still be part of the landscape with the last building plot – i.e. to live in it – was decisive for the design. Similar to the well-known “hay harps”, the building stands in the landscape – characterized by a clear structure and “lightness”.
Mark’s Tokyo by Kenta Nagai Studio
Mark’s Tokyo is a minimal space located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Kenta Nagai Studio. Mark’s Tokyo is a restaurant where you can enjoy original dishes made by adding Japanese spices to Italian cuisine, which is the root of Chef Mark. Located on a quiet street just off the downtown area of Meguro, Tokyo and required to make all guests feel like they are eating in Mark’s kitchen, Since We think that the food and the chef and the guest are the main characters in this space.
House B-T by GRAUX & BAEYENS
House B-T is a minimal residence located in Meilegem, Belgium, designed by GRAUX & BAEYENS. In order to create a comfortable old age for themselves in their own village, without having to move to a retirement home, the client decided to replace an old worn out house with a new two-family house. The idea is that the client lives in a “bungalow on the first floor” where everything is easily accessible with surrounding terraces that give a beautiful view of the landscape.
The Whale by Clément Lesnoff-Rocard
The Whale is a minimal apartment located in Paris, France, designed by Clément Lesnoff-Rocard. Situated within the basement of a residential art deco property, the renovation sought to strip away unnecessary elements to expose the original structure of the building.

Our intervention consists of a house on one floor.
Nieby Crofters Cottage by Jan Henrik Jansen and Marshall Blecher
Nieby Crofters Cottage is a minimal cottage located on the baltic coast of Germany, designed by Jan Henrik Jansen and Marshall Blecher. The thatch roofed, brick cottage was originally built by tenant farmers or crofters from a nearby estate in the late 1800’s. It stands on a small triangular plot of land surrounded by barley fields and faces toward the geltinger birk nature reserve where wild horses and deer still live amongst the marshlands.
Villa BA by gosseye + verbeke
Villa BA is a minimal residence located in Bruges, Belgium, designed by gosseye + verbeke. The house fronts onto a smaller forest road with limited traffic, but a lot of hikers. To avoid direct view, the starting point of the design was an enclosed outdoor space that acts as a buffer between public and private.

Equador 804 Apartment is a renovation project located in Cascais, covering approximately 33m2, aimed at income generation through short-term rental. The proposed functional program included a kitchen and a bedroom, in open-space format, a bathroom, and also the use of the outdoor balcony as a living space.

Ghost Houses is a minimal residence located in London, United Kingdom, designed by Fraher & Findlay. The design proposals look to explore a slim configuration of the traditional terrace house. The ‘narrow’ houses use angled rooflights /windows to bring in light to the plan and minimize the bulk and form of the traditional lean too outrigger extension.

Kampus North Block by YOUTH
Kampus North Block is a minimal space located in Manchester, United Kingdom, designed by YOUTH. Kampus was one of the first projects we took on as a studio. After pitching for it back in 2016, even though we’d never done anything at this scale before (533 apartments across 5 buildings), we managed to beat out several established design studios from across the UK. This initial glimpse is of North Block, the first of five individual buildings to be completed at the new neighborhood.
Loft Kitchen by Gerdesmeyer Krohn
Loft Kitchen is a minimal space located in Cologne, Germany, designed by Gerdesmeyer Krohn. In mid-2021, the studio implemented a modern kitchen project in a renovated loft in an old building. The focus was on the interplay of architecture, functionality and a simple, straightforward design. The fronts and side panels are made of light gray, ultra matt Fenix.
