Detail of the facade of the Bertelsmann Stiftunng in Berlin. This building is an interpretation of the Alte Kommandantur which stood in the same place but was destroyed during WWII. The architect Van den Valentyn used old photo's of the building to reconstruct this building as there were no plans from the original design.
