Most arguments take place because two people believe that their perspective is the right perspective. Whether its right or not when youre in the heat of anger the only thing that normally matters is that your point is heard. The best way to stop an argument is to simply acknowledge and validate how the other person is feeling. If you do this theres nothing else they can say so the argument most likely will not continue.  Now acknowledging and validating does not mean that you have to agree. If you want to have a life full of joy then you must surround yourself with joy as often as you can especially in your home.  Fill your home only with the things that you absolutely love. This means that everything you own should make you feel good and if it doesnt then you should pass it on.  When I applied this in my own home I let go of two-thirds of what I owned. I had no idea that I had so much stuff that didnt really bring me joy. Since then Ive let go of even more and it feels so freeing.
