This video serves as an introduction to solids of revolution. Determining their volume is a major topic in calculus, but for our purposes, try to visualize the shape made by the curve after revolving it about an axis. There are several videos in this series, so go through each (you can probably skip over the calculus part, unless you want a huge headstart on the topic!) and try to imagine the shapes of the solids of revolution.
