A large American-made coat pocket set circa late 1950's. An unusual desing with the dial on the bottom and the speaker on top. (Hints of the mid 1930's 'tombstone" or upright tabletop design). This particular model has been nicknamed the "Bow Tie" radio due to the shape of the plastic underneath the dial.
