Glamour Drops :: a quest for the glamorous details in life ::: Sorrento House: exposed concrete in unadulterated glory
This courtyard house in Chile was elegantly designed to complement the arid environment with two volumes connected through a large elevated glass bridge-corridor. It combines exposed concrete, native wood from the south of Chile and glass, creating a cozy modern living space with elements of rustic country living. DX Arquitectos designed the house by vertically separating common and private areas to take advantage of the views from each different part of the house.
