Old windows with glass grouted in. They slide on the pole and block out the sun in the afternoon. When you don't need them, they slide to the end of the opening.
I made this using a vintage window. I used window and door caulk to make sure the glass was secure and then using the flat backed marbles from the Dollar Tree and clear indoor outdoor adhesive found at Ace.
