Saab 9-2; a charming car with design influenced by the 50's teardrop models. Total eye candy for me, spritely, graceful and visually delicious. From http://blog.niot.net/en/tag/9-1/#
The car: SAAB 93b. The aircraft: SAAB 32 Lansen. Saab 32 Lansen first flew November 3, 1952 and from 1955 to 1960 delivered 447 pieces for the Swedish Air Force. They were in active service until 1978, a few flies to this day at times. Between September 1957 and August 1959, it was built 29 830 Saab 93B. Unlike its predecessor, the Saab 93 by the B-model, full windshield and turn signal lamps instead of arrows, improved seats and a lockable glove box.

Saab 98? I've heard rumors of the Saab 98. Well here it is. Looks like a combo of a late model 95 and an early hatchback 99. Odd no matter how you look at it. There's been some debate as to just how many 98's were made. Some have said the pictures on this page are of the same car before and after repainting. I'm trying to get the straight story. The Saab Sonett, a name derived from the Swedish phrase Så nätt den är ("how neat it is", or more literally "so neat they are"). This little car was manufactured sporadically between 1956-1974. Once I drove one of these the fastest I've ever driven in my life, and it scared me to death. It sounded like I was driving a giant bee.

The Saab 92001, or Ursaab, was their first prototype car and also pretty cool. A svelte body with narrow lights (that remind us of a Morgan Aero 8) covered a simple 2 cylinder 2-stroke engine. This buzzy little car drove over 330,000 miles.
