As with any event, if you don’t practice, you won’t improve. And no matter how much your trainer works on your #horse, if you don’t work on your own timing and communication with your horse, it’s not going to happen in the arena for you. It’s certainly true for #showmanship. Learn how to teach your horse a quick and easy setup with help from AQHA Professional Horsewoman Charlene Carter. Read about it on America's Horse Daily: http://americashorsedaily.com/a-horse-showing-setup/

Pass rope around the post/rail; cross free end under the standing part (portion of rope connected to the horse's halter). 2. Form a loop, going over and then behind the standing rope. 3. Make a second loop in free end, keeping it near first loop, and pass it over standing rope & through first loop. 4. Set or snug the knot by pulling on both standing rope & second loop. To untie, simply pull on the tail end of the rope.
