Art nouveau in Riga

The noveau art section in Riga was built around 1900. Fantastic buildings, with fantastic details that survived the war. It's supposed to be the largest display of its kind in Europe. A major architect was Mikhail Eisenstein, the father of the Russian film director Sergei. Some of my Slivkin relations lived in this neighborhood as well as in the old city.
