FollowersThe remodeling of a cramped and badly lit mews house in West London to create an open and bright contemporary home. Echoing the historical mews the new street elevation mimics the scale of the pervious stable doors with a series of wooden shutters beside large glazed openings. Inside, a break in the floor plates allows for a high floor to ceiling space where the entrance and new staircase is now placed. Lit from above by a roof light the central space can be overlooked by the floor above.
