Someday... go to Warsaw, Poland .... and discover my family's rich history!
75 Nowogrodzka, Warsaw, Poland, the location of Orphanage #15 where my babies were taken on April 5, 2001 by the Court for Warsaw-Mokotow. They lived here until January 21, 2002 when we were legally able to take them home to the US.
Warsaw Marriott Hotel, where we stayed the first several days of our first trip to Poland during the adoption process in November 2001. The hotel is near Dom Dziecka 15, the orphanage.
The square at the center of the Old Town of Warsaw, capital of Poland. It is the oldest part of the city of Warsaw.
A view of Celna Street in the opposite direction, looking down toward the Vistula River.
Building on left is where we rented an apartment in late 2001 during the adoption process for Andrew, Konrad and Paulina. This is Celna Street in Stare Miasto, Warsaw, right off the town square. We lived here from November 27 - December 13, 2001. Our apartment was on the second floor and our windows looked out on that street.
