Croatian (Slavonian) Easter eggs - this is how we always colored our eggs - interesting leaves in the stocking and then cooked in onion peels, dandelion flowers or beet skins. Afterwards we would make them shiny by rubbing them in bacon.
Buy rectangular vases, fake flowers, rocks, ribbon, and candles the width of the rectangle. Glue the flowers to the rocks and fill with water. Float the candle up top. Glue the ribbon around the top of the vase.
