The Queen's diaries show that when she came to the throne as an 18-year-old she was a party-loving teenager who enjoyed a close relationship with Prime Minister, Lord Melbourne.

I’m not big on period dramas but I like Jenna Coleman (she was brilliant in 'The Cry') so I decided to give the third series of ITV's 'Victoria' a go.

The 29-year-old beauty actress takes on the lead in the period drama, which follows the early life of the British monarch from her ascension to the throne at the tender age of 18 through to her marriage.

According to reports from Friday, the period drama had disappointing ratings for its most recent series, which aired in 2019 and reportedly drew in around 2.8million viewers weekly.

PBS will air Victoria season three in mid-January, while the show has yet to receive a premiere date in the UK
