The Drottningholm Palace (Swedish: Drottningholms Slott) private residence of the Swedish royal family. it is one of Sweden's Royal Palaces. It was originally built in the late 16th century. It served as a regular summer residence of the Swedish royal court for most of the 18th century. Apart from being the private residence of the Swedish royal family, the palace is a popular tourist attraction.

Drottningholm Palace was built for the Queen Hedvig Eleonora in 1662 and is often named as the ‘Versailles of the North’. The southern wing of the Palace is preserved for the current Royal Family in Sweden for their permanent residence. The architectural and interior design is full of baroque flavor, and it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.

Stora Sundby Castle (Swedish: Stora Sundby slott) is a castle in Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. The architectural features of the castle resembles those of a calendar, four large towers symbolizing the seasons, twelve small towers symbolizing the months of the year, 52 rooms symbolizing the weeks of the year, and a window for each day of the year (365). Architect was Peter Frederick Robinson.
